Jim Flowers (April 13th, 1939-April 10th, 2018), was born and raised in the Montrose area and was always active with various forms of farming and ranching.   He attended Auction school in 1970 and started Jim's Auction Service, with the auction yard on Jay Jay Rd.  Jim ran and worked livestock auctions, many different farming and equipment sales, and started the Annual Machinery Consignment Auction the first weekend of February. Jim thoroughly enjoyed his auction career!  He also dearly loved his family and worked closely with them, especially his grandson Nolan, who continues as the owner and auctioneer.  Jim is loved and remembered by many, and left a wonderful legacy of hard work, perseverance, integrity, and kindness.
